Abstraksi | : | Abstract Many tenets of Individual Psychology are conceptually compatible with Confucian influences on individuals, families, and schools in a society like Taiwan, where respect for education and community are taught and practiced. Individual Psychology, since its first introduction to Taiwan in 1976, has become more known through translated works, academic research, and training workshops and conferences, both by Taiwanese Adierian professionals and by their U.S. counterparts. Challenges exist for fellow Adierians to understand and strategize how Individual Psychology is amenable to cultures and societies like those in Taiwan, where autocratic and hierarchical relationships and internalized inferiority persist. |
