Abstraksi:Abstract The a-jthors discuss the history of the development of Individual Psychology in the Slovak Republic. Sincelhefall of communism during the "Velvet Revolution" in 1989, viiestern ideas, such as Individual Psychology, have been welcomed in Slovakia. The changes in the society and the unique challenges for the people of Slovakia have created a need for Slovak therapists to be trained in effective methods of psychotherapy. A unique collaborative between North American and western European Adierians has resulted in successfully training and instilling Individual Psychology as a viable system oí psychotherapy in Slovakia.
