| Abstraksi | : | This study investigated the rates of physical violence in Midwestem adolescent dating relationships. Results indicated that 1 in 4 college students experienced physical violence in a dating relationship in high school. No significant differences were found between rural and urban adolescents, although male adolescents in both groups reported experiencing higher frequencies of physical violence in their dating relationships. Suggestions for programs that educate adolescents in the development of healthy dating behaviors are discussed. |
