| Abstraksi | : | This study discusses the fuel delivery process conducted by ABC Carrier. Fuel delivery problem is studied because there are still some problems in the process of fuel delivery, which inhibits the supply chain network of fuel in Indonesia. To be able to deal with these problems, the research is carried out to analyze the fuel delivery process at ABC Carrier and seek the alternative solutions that can improve the efficiency of the fuel delivery process. This research conducted using discrete event simulation using Arena simulation software version 14 by Rockwell Automation. The main parameters used in this study are lead time, total ship- ping costs and profits (profit) obtained by ABC Carrier. Among two alternatives proposed, scenario 1 (additional resource in the form of SME) and scenario 2 (training and certification) it was found that scenario 1 with the addition of re- sources such as SME, providing lower lead time with higher profits. |
