| Abstraksi | : | Computer lab is a facility needed in an academic environment in X University. The computer labs at X University often encounter some problems that can be solved by a sufficient information system. A clientserver based application using Java programming language was built to overcome these problems. This application can be used to control activities that are happening in the computer labs, such as: the presency record keeping conducted by an assistant and students, students computer usage, students grades processing, assistant record who uses a computer lab, production of all data reports, student status information , data conversion performance , application shutdown process client by the server , the incoming USB client detection, assistant salary calculation, automatic log off the client computer, and the percentage of attendance assistant practitioner displayed, backup files, download the material lecture by the client, upload the file from the client to the server, sending e - mails to laboratory activities, displays a warning message when the last 15 minutes and the end of the lab time, checking the computer in real -time as well as the server can send messages to the client computer. Based on the blackbox testing result, this application can be used to control the computer lab. |
