| Abstraksi | : | Given n observations (x; , yt) under regression model assumption as follows: y; = m(xt) +e; , i = 1, 2, ... , n where e, is random error which is assumed independent with mean zero and variance o2. Here m(xt) is an unknown function to be estimated Sanusi [6] used both Spline Speckman and Spline Reinsch Estimator to estimate the model which was applied to data of Meleic Anhydride Production in PT Petro Widada, Gresik. In this paper we estimated m(xt) by using nonparametric regression approach, i.e. Kernel Estimator and applied the model to the same data. The result showed that Mean Square Error by using Kernel Estimator less than those by using both Spline Speckman and Spline Reinsch Estimator as criterion of goodness of fit model . |
