| Abstraksi | : | To guarantee authenticity of the result an measurement, the value of uncertainty every measuring instrument have to be known. As a part of measuring instrument the sensor have to fulfill also these requirement. Linear of Variable Displacement Transformer ( LVDT) is one of the electric-mechanic sensor, which wide used to measure displacement. Therefore, before using in process of measurement, the sensor have to be calibrated. The Calibration of sensor can be conducted by using the gage block. The vary of the gage block thickness will compared with displacement of LVDT core, and by using a linear regression the relationship between core displacement and sensor output will be determined. These relationship will be presented as a calibration graph. By using Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement, the equation of measurement uncertainty of L VDT could be known. Base on this calibration result the uncertainty measurement of LVDT is 12,6 pm. These Evaluation method is hoped can be used for calculating the value of uncertainty for other linear measurement. |
