| Abstraksi | : | A therapy evaluation of hematology disorders on 26 post-chemotherapy woman-cancer cases in Hospital X Yogyakarta in 2004 has been done. The results showed that the cancer types were breast (66%), ovarium (15%), and cervical (19%); age 41-50 years (38.46%); stadium 4 (46.15%); and post-chemotherapy complications were nausea (42.31%), vomiting (30.77%), and anemia, leucopenia, leucocytosis (3.85% each). Anemia therapies were transfusion plus iron supplement (3 cases), transfusion only (2), iron supplement only (12), and no treatment (9). All anemia cases were without erythropoietin; prescribed supplements contained no iron (2 cases); leucopenia was without therapy (1); leucocytoses were without antibiotics (4), but non-leucocytosis received antibiotics (1). The outcomes were death (0%), ambulatory treatment (100%), mean (modus) length of stay 4.6 (2 and 3) days; upon discharge, leucocytosis recovered (2 cases), worse (2), remained bad (1), and without data (21); anemia (6 cases), normal (5), almost anemia (3), and without data (12). |
