| Abstraksi | : | This study aims to gain insight about the resilience in depth in women who suffer from lupus. In this disease, an excess of antibody was found or called autoimmune. Lupus disease can also cause physical changes due to symptoms of the disease itself and treatment received. Lupus disease is often called the disease of women and women who suffer from the disease lupus is usually more prone to get depressed because women are usually concerned with appearance. Therefore resilience are necessary for women with this disease. Resilience is the ability to maintain themselves and adapt when people dealing with stressful situation. Resilience itself formed from the interaction between risk protective factors with external and internal protective factors. Research methods used in this study is a qualitative case study type. Data collection method used was interviews with the general guidelines and behavioral checklists. There are two subjects interviewed in this study. The first subject has discoid lupus and the second subject suffering from systemic lupus that attacks the kidney. The results showed that the interaction between risk factors with protective factors internal and external resilience produce different characteristics in resilience for each subject. Subject who has internal protective factors and good external can produce the optimum resilience characteristic in the face oflupus disease. |
