| Abstraksi | : | Production volume forecasting inaccuracy will trigger overstock / stockout. Besides, it also appears significant impact to Customer Relation and Production Planning and Control. Such indication based on previous data (September 2003) ,from Septentber 2003 (week 36) to February 2004 (Week 08), the forecast error were (Kereia Kencana=72.33%, Gunung Bromo=57.41 %, Semar pp=48.31 %, Lokomotif=60% percent) around 60 % roughly. It is generate Price of Non Conformance for instance Inventory Cost Rp 158.147.443,00, Opportunity Loss as much as Rp 20.810.960.628,00, Warehouse leasing was US$ 1785,794 ( 1 US$ = Rp.1O.000,OO) with a total of Price of Non Conformance was US$ 2.098.696,601. To overcome such a problem, the existing forecasting system has been modified by information flow arrangement from marketing to manufacturing by three kinds of alternative. The result is Price of Non Conformance reduction until US$ 1.449.653,51 along 3 months observation |
