| Abstraksi | : | Simpang Lima is the center area of Semarang. In every rainy seasons, water inundation always occurs. It reaches to 80 cm depth, 1-2 hours of duration, disturbing the full activity area. This paper studies the inundation characteristics. The water inundation simulation model is made using StormCAD software program of Haestad Methods, with rainfall intensity inputted of 2, 5 and 10 years return periods. The assumption the depths of sediment in the channel use in the simulation are 0, 10, 20, 30, and 40 % of the channel depth. Using the assumption that the channel is without sediment, with 5 years return period, the simulation results show that inundation. On the street of Bundaran air mancur is +10 cm, and flooding channel is 43%. While for the same condition,; but with 10 years return period, the inundation is +19 cm, and flooding is 57,4%. As for the assumption of 30% sediment, with 5 years return period, the inundation is +80 cm, and the flooding channel is 75,3%. While for the 10 years return period, the inundation is +110 cm, and flooding is 77%. |
