| Abstraksi | : | Globally, it is recognized that approximately 63% of the economic growth of Indonesia comes from the small-medium enterprises (SME) sector. Ninety-seven percent of all business in Indonesia are SME. It is therefore likely that the implementation of information technology and internet-enabled business processes can help increase national GDP. However there are a lot of barrier for SME to compete in the global e-business sector therefore we must measure the e-readiness of SME for implementing the e-business. This paper focuses on the assessment of e-readiness of small-medium enterprises in Indonesia. The paper suggests five categories of e-readiness measures for assessing how SMEs performing terms of e-business implementation. The measurements are used to assess SMEs in Bandung. The conclusion is that e-readiness of SMEs in implementing e-business are very low. |
