| Abstraksi | : | There are many factors affect success of a business. To mention two of them are entreprenuership and managerial know-how of manager. This research was intended to identify whether success of business relates to entrepreunership and managerial know-how of small retailers. Data was gathered from 30 small and traditional retailers in Semarang which were chosen by using purposive sampling method They were interviewed to explore how they run their businesses and their opinions about the success in their businesses. Afterward, psychological tests were conducted to evaluate their entrepreneurship. Employing descriptive qualitative method, this research found that the retailers are entrepreneurs and they know how to run their business in a well manner. Their businesseses are also categorized as successful. However, the result of t test proves that there is no relationship between entrepreneurship and managerial know-how to business success. The success of business, in this case, might be better explained by other factors than by the two factors. |
