| Abstraksi | : | In this fast changing global market, success no longer tied to the traditional inputs of labor, capital or land The new critical resource is inside the heads of employee, that is the knowledge as it will become one of the competitive advantage of company in this very competitive market. The objective of knowledge management is to manage the knowledge so thai it can give the highest business value to the organization. The key to effective knowledge management is defining what knowledge is important to the organization and then creating processes to put that knowledge to work. Implementing knowledge management in an organisation is not as easy as it thought. because it needs phasing in its realization. Besides, There will be so many challenges that we I ave to face, the most difficult one. is transforming the culture to build the sharing knowledge community. In this context, the top management driven culture change is very important to ensures that knowledge sharing becomes natural behaviour in the organisation. In this article, a study case is taken in a chemical company in Indonesia. From tyre case, we can see the steps that ore taken in implementation process which happened in the company, how to overcome the challenges, what kind of benefits that occurs which are valuable to enrplovees and company. |
