Abstraksi:Abstract. One of the methods used in adult Aedes aegypti mosquito control is to use chemical control of the organophosphate insecticide Malathion types. But the case is not likely to decrease, This suggests the possibility of mosquito Aedes aegypti resistance to insecticides Malathion. The purpose of this study was to prove the resistance of Aedes aegypti to insecticides Malathion in Sub District Simpang Batulicin and Tanah Bumbu District Four. This study is a research experiment with post test only with control group design. with randomized block design design (RAK). consisting of .f treated and 2 controls with 4 replications. The dose used to determine the status of the vulnerability of Malathion 0.8% and 0.5%. The results of colonization in the capture 100 birds and 50 mosquito to test mosquitoes as a control with the condition of full blood. Percentage mortality of mosquitoes in the District of Simpang Four of 90% at doses of 0.8% and 95 at doses of 0.5%. while in District Batulicin presentation of death by 97% at doses of 0.8% and 92% at doses of 0.5%. Suscepbility in the two areas together -just show the status of tolerant. Different test results showed no significant difference in both regions with p> alpha (629). The study area status is still tolerant and there is no difference in the status of suscepbility in both regions so that the insecticide Malathion can still be used.
