| Abstraksi | : | Gembyangan Waranggana is a ritual inaguration or confession of Waranggana candidate to become a Waranggana who has authority to perform Langen Tayub. Gembyangan Waranggana or usually known as Waranggana graduation becomes unseparable activity with "bersih desalt in Ngrajek, Sambirejo, Tanjung Anom, Nganjuk. Gembyangan Waranggana has become the annual local tourism agenda in Nganjuk Regency. For the best fifteen years Gembyangan Waranggana managed tourism agency has not provided a positive impact on society. This research was held to test a package model for Gembyangan Waranggana development as cultural tourism that was expected to provide more positive impact for society and the artists involved. The research procedures went as follow: (a) identifying the existance of traditional dance in Nganjuk, (b) laboratory work by creating the new dance that in compliance with the characteristics ofNganjuk traditional art, (c) recording and documenting the innovation dance, (d) discussing the result of model development of the new dance with cultural experts, tourism practitioner and academician, (e) producing and copying souvenir featuring of Langen Tayub and see how it works in Gembyangan Waranggana event, (1) held a promotion of Gembyangan Waranggana in various societies including all of the students using a model that has been conducted in the first year of the research, (g) presenting the new dance which is based on Nganjuk traditional dance at Gembyangan Waranggana performance. It can be concluded that Gembyangan Waranggana which is continuously performed is a positive action to preserve the safety of the nation's culture. It is viewed as an act of preserving ancestor's heritage both in the form of idea and symbols and in the form of behavior that reflects the characters of the nation's culture. |
