Abstraksi:The purposes of the research were, 1) to find out the influence of employee competency and motivation to the performance of employee. 2) to find out the boundary (cut off value) of competency and motivation that could be based on superior performance and average performance of employee. 3) to find out the difference performance between male and female employee. 4) to find out the difference performance between senior and junior employee. This research was conducted to 70 respondent in CM-Call Cente division of PT. X. Based on analytical result, there were variables influencing the employee both qualitatively and quantitatively; they were achievement motivation, competency of team work, and competency of self development for quantity, whereas quality of employee performance was affiliation motivation. The discriminant analysis showed that the cut of value 1.306 and the significant variables were motivation for power, motivation for achievement, competency communication, competency innovation process improvement, competency team work, competency adaptability & diversity management. The ANOYA result showed that the performance of women was better than the man. There was no significant difference between senior and junior performance.
