| Abstraksi | : | The research with the topic of instalation effects of various fish cage shapes toward changing in river base topography is aimed to investigate the phenomena of changing in river base, especially for the appearance of degradation and sedimentation around the.fish cage. A Physical modelling is carried out in the laboratory using of six variation of fish cage prototypes which is imitated the real condition. The base material used is the material which directly taken from the river itself where the fish is cultivated. The modeling is done with various variations, i.e: fish cage with triangle and oval edges, oval and circle edges, rectangular ang circle edges, triangle and rectangular edges, rectangular and oval edges as well as triangle and circle edges. The result of the research shows that the instalation of the fish cage with triangle and oval edges obtains smallest degradation and sedimentation among the variations, which are 6,6%, 20%, and 16,7% from whole materials for upland, midland and down stream, respectivelly. In contrary, the fish cage with circle and rectangular edges produces the biggest degradation and sedimentation. Those are 86,6% for upland, 100% for midle land and 53% for down stream. Moreover, the biggest sediment produced in the down stream is existed with the variation of circle and rectangular fish cages instalation |
