| Abstraksi | : | Barriers for women to entry in a Medium & Small Business Entrepeneur (MSF) commonly stemmed from the stigma that economic activities undertaken by women are limited on the form of augmentation, of filling up the spare time, and less taking care professioraally. The stigma gives consequence to structural aspect, that is the less unsound policy implementation for women to invlolve freely in economic activities. While there is no rule which prohibit women to have and manage economic assets, it is men who usually own economic asset, be it household asset or formal economic business asset. Based on research findings, there is no differences of acces between men and women. Yet,most of the entrepreneurs have no adequate information to take benefit out of the available opportunities, so that they cannot develop their core business, such as the lack of information in terms of capital augmentation, trainings, legal procedure, etc. The findings indicates that gendered small and medium business enterprises 'development calls for repairment in terms of communication strategy between the government and the business actors. The government needs to compile aspirations of entrepreneurs' necessities. Through this bottom-up input it is hoped that the government can find the most suitable program to strengthen the small and medium scale business sector. |
