| Abstraksi | : | Vehicle as a necessity for transportation is increasing from year to year. In facing the globalization era, national automotive industries have to be independent. The independence should be followed by increasing and controlling the quality of the automotive industry. Various efforts which are supported by knowledge of science and technology are conducted to increase the quality of vehicles. One of the efforts is paying attention to the design concept by referring to the data and experience acquired in the field. An acceptable or adequate design concept can be proven by research and testing in the laboratorium, consequently tithe results are less satisfactory or not near to what is expected then perfecting measures towards the design can be quickly taken. Throughout their journey, the R & D automotive association must be able to organize the main or foremost programs that are capable of gathering up-to-date aspirations by means of adaptation towards the human resources along with the available facilities which are mastered Automotive design technology is afield that should be developedfor the provision of automotive engineers, which in return are expected to create new innovations for the design of vehicles, hence can be able to be implemented into a prototype which is then scrutinized and developed in an automotive research and development center. This paper discusses some points that are related with the efforts in improving the quality of the automotive industry which are done in the laboratorium. Also here, is elaborated about the educational, research, and development body or center which has to be partner of automotive industries in order to increasing the domestic growth of the automotive industry. |
