| Abstraksi | : | A well planned facility planning directly determines efficiency and indirectly determines the success of management and survival of the industry. This paper is aimed to compare Quantitative Method, Qualitative Method and Genetic AlgoÂrithms Method in solving facility planning problems by considering minimum material handling cost, minimum material handling distance and optimum space as criteria. As the result of this comparison, it is concluded that a facility layout using Genetic Algorithms Method is the best layout, with material handling cost Rp 14,380,520.66 per day, material handling distance of 7,921.0 I m, and layout space of45,42./.15 m2. |
