| Abstraksi | : | Macadamia hildebrandii Steenis is one of the prestigious plant species in wallacea region, which is an endemic to Sulawesi. In 2011-2013, the exploration team from Bogor and Enrekang has discover this plant in South Sulawesi. This plant will enrich the collection for Bogor and enrekang Botanic Garden. It is a new collection from wallacea region. The trees can be grown as ornamental plant for their attractive foliage, flowers and fruits. The seeds are a valuable food crop and the wood can be processed and used for furniture, pulp and paper or construction. |
