Abstraksi:Suweg (Amorphophallus paeoniifolius) belongs to the Araceae family, This species has a tremendous potential to be developed as food material. From its tubers suweg can be processed into various food such as onde amor ketawa, cheese stick amor, peyek arnot and other variety. In addition, this tubers are also potential as functional food because it has a low Glycemic Index. Propagation of suweg can be donein various ways, both in the conventional as well as using tissue culture techniques.
