| Abstraksi | : | Business of alcohol has been very limited or forbidden, because the negative impact of it could be happened in urban and rural communities. Ironically, the existing of alcohol industry is still held out by several rural households. Because of that, the research carried out to study (1) dominant factors push the continuity of the alcohol industry, (2) marketing system of the product, and (3) the contribution of earning of alcohol industry to household income. This research was carried out at alcohol industry in Bekonang village, Mojolaban sub-district, Sukoharjo disctrict. Census technique was used for data collecting from all of the 80 households who are enterprising of alcohol industry. Data collecting uses directly of interview technique in the field study. Data are analyzed using frequency and cross tabulation method as well as statistical techniques. The result shows that generally (60%) the continuity of alcohol industry is contributed by raw material available. Besides that, most of households (70%) want to preserve their family of alcohol industries. The production value is quiet influenced by several factors, such as (1) capital, (2) raw material, (3) ingredients, (4) fuel, and (5) number of labor. However, the capital is the main factor that influences the production value. It is due to the fact that production depends on the number capital for supplying of malase as raw material, NaOH as ingredients, wood as fuel, and transportation cost whether it is for input or output. This research found that contribution of the industry earning to the household income is only amount 27,06 percents. However, the alcohol industry is continually held out and settled. |
