Abstraksi:The use of energy in buildings is very related to the skin or building envelope. One way to reduce energy use in buildings is to reduce the heat load coming from outside. One way to calculate the amount of heat that enters the building is the concept OTTV (Overall Thermal Transfer Value). Among the criteria for building envelope energy conservation, among others, the ratio of glass to the wall or window Window to Wall Ratio (WWR) , type, thickness and color of the outside walls, shade devices, conductance of glass, roof and wall insulation, roof and wall absorption, the direction toward and others. This study aims to determine the WWR that can be used to plan the building to meet the required OTTV. The method used is analytical by using secondary data. The results showed that the Dharmala Intiland has the OTTV value of 47.96 W / m 2. This value is only about 2.96 W / m 2 from the value required by the ISO, which is 45 W / m 2. This condition results from WWR (Window Wall Ratio of 50%. Sheath building in question can produce a value that meets the standards OTTV changes when performed on: WWR; type, thickness and color of the outer wall; tool shade; conductance glass; roof insulation and wall.
