| Abstraksi | : | Traditional culture, which still developes among Indonesia's societies, belong to one of the varieties of national culture. In striving for the deve lopment of national culture, both the discovery and local invention or absorption of foreign culture, people still more point to regional culture, every Indonesia society is a propronent of their each re gional culture. Consciously or not when they are faced by a new challenge, they will point to old culture which dominates their lives or society involved and give choice of action which is under-stood clearly. Therefore the position of the regional culture role in the process of national culture de velopment is still important. Re gional culture still exist and in every village there is cul ture,which has different pattern from others and can support the performsnce of national culture. The Jalasutra traditional ceremony which takes place at Srimulyo village, Piyungan dis trict, Bantul regency in Yogya karta Special Province, is one of the regional cultures which has been developing up to now. In implementing the Jalasutra mony they use a big " ketul which filled in the plaited coconut leaf ). The big ° Ket is distincctiveness in imple ing the ceremony. The cere will raise much in hope in or defend the existence o ceremony in the coming time ceremony gives benefit t( next generation. |
