| Abstraksi | : | Indonesian people seems to have low awareness in investment even in a simple way such as bank saving. This situation is contrary to the data showed that Indonesian income per capita has increased in 2012. When people dont have a reserve fund in the short-term savings then they wont have for long-term either. Departing from this, I conduct interviews to 8 students of Atma Jaya Catholic University to explore three areas: student knowledge about investment and investment instruments, the reality about student money management, and student investment mindset. From the results of these interviews, it was revealed that the student understand that there are short-term investments to meet the operational needs such as savings, but they dont understand that it necessary as well to have long-term investment. In terms of knowledge about the various money market instruments and capital markets, they also have very low awareness. Students prioritize the money that they have for consumption. They will have saving only if there is money leftover. They dont have yet growth-oriented minded. What they save, they will spend them in the future. I gave the idea to organize Investment Ambassador of Atma Jaya Catholic University which aims to provide education to the students about money management and investing mindset according to jinancepreneur mindset. |
