A Character Analysis of Thomas in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials Movie
ABSTRAKSI :
Characters and characterization are the most important element in a movie where they can build stories. This research is conducted to know the main characteristic of Thomas as the main character in the movie Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive where the researcher analyzes the characteristics of Thomas in types of personality by Littauer. The researcher found that Thomas is a powerful choleric personality with adventurous characteristic, persuasive, resourceful, self-reliant, mover, daring and bold. Besides that, Thomas is also a person who perfect melancholy personality with considerate and respectful characteristics. It is proved from 10 data found by the researcher after watching the movie.
