ABSTRAKSI :

There are several characters in this novel that comes so various. Most of the characters have around character type and behavioral type as a dependent person. The writer analyzes two persons in this research paper, Phileeas Fogg and Jean Passepartout. This research paper is meant to show Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout moral values, In order to analyze a moral value, the reader needs to understand the motivation of character, the writer do some research and find out the moral values in the novel. The writer uses the novel “Around the World in 80 Days” and the books that support in analyzing the character Psychological Approach is used in this research. By reading a novel, someone can get special satisfaction and something, which can be learned as a reflection of life. There are many things which someone can draw some lessons in a novel such as a psychological view, the title “A MORAL ANALYSIS OF PHILEAS FOGG AND JEAN PASSEPARTOUT CHARACTER IN JULES VERNE’S “AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS” Is given because of the interest to the story it self. This interest stimulates the writer to explore more about the two main characters in the story.
