A SEMIOTIC ANALYSIS OF PARASITE MOVIE POSTER
ABSTRAKSI :
Semiotic is the study of meaning making, the study of sign process and meaningful communication. It explores how words and other signs make meaning.The aim of this research is to find out the semiotic signs which are found in Parasite movie poster. This research used the theory of Charles Sanders Peirce of Triadic Model, they are Object, Representamen, and Interpretant in analyzing the data. Qualitative method is used in this research.. The result showed that there are 40 data found namely verbal headline 1 datum, body copy 2 data, tagline 1datum, baseline 4 data and non verbal appearance 11 data, manner 9 data, activity 5 data, props 4 data, setting 1 datum, analyzing photographs or images 2 data.
