Character Analysis on Ebenezer Scrooge in the Novel "A Christmas Carol"

Jakarta : 2010. ABSTRACT In this research paper, the writer wants to tell about characteristics of Scrooge in the novel “A Christmas Carol†written by Charles Dickens. The aims of this research is to find out the characteristics of Ebenezer Scrooge as a main character. The method of this research to analyze this paper, the writer uses the qualitative to help writer to find the things that can explain the novel, collects the data from the novel, brows internet that has relation to the subject, English-Indonesian dictionary, and tries to explain and gives the conclusion. After analyzing Ebenezer, the writer found the characters of Ebenezer. Ebenezer was an old man who is very stingy, careless, and selfish.
