Characteristic Analysis of Ember Lumen in Elemental: Force of Nature Movie
ABSTRAKSI :
This research is purposed to analyze the characteristics of Ember Lumen from the movie Elemental: Force of Nature using Florence Littauer's. Elemental made its out-of-competition debut as the closing film at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 27, 2023, and opens in the United States on June 16, and in Indonesia on June 21. Four temperaments theory categorizes into: Sanguine, Melancholy, Choleric, and Phlegmatic types. The data for this research is from an Elemental movie scene. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, analyzing various scenes from the movie to determine Ember's characteristics. The research identifies 22 instances of Ember's behavior, categorized according to Littauer's theory: 4 as Sanguine, 7 as Melancholy, 9 as Choleric, and 2 as Phlegmatic. The findings aim to provide insight into Ember's personality, contributing to the broader understanding of character analysis in movie studies.
