ABSTRAKSI :
The objective of this study is to find out what and how the narrative structures, functions and sphere of actions occur in A Little Something Different novel by Sandy Hall published in 2014 based on the analysis model developed by Vladimir Propp and Tzvetan Todorov. The method of this study is qualitative research method and documentation techniques as the data collection procedure. As a result, this study has complete narrative structures, namely Equilibrium, Disruption, Recognition, Resolution and New Equilibrium. Then in this study the researcher found 11 narrative functions in thirty-one narrative functions, there are: initial situation 1 datum, interdiction 1 datum, violation 2 data, reconnaissance 1 datum, delivery 1 datum, return 3 data, difficult task 2 data, solution 1 datum, first function of the donor 1 datum, transfiguration 1 datum and last pursuit 1 datum. The narrative function is displayed through the form of 6 monologues, 8 dialogues and 2 narrators. Furthermore, the researcher found 5 out of 7 spheres of actions, there are; villain 1 datum, donor 1 datum, dispatcher 1 datum, helper 1 datum and false hero 1 datum. The sphere of actions also showed through the form of 2 monologues and 3 narrators.
