ABSTRAKSI :
Vladimir Propp, a Russian scholar has categorized different types of characters, which are called spheres of action. The theory helps to analyze the types of characters in literary works, including movies. This research aims to find the spheres of action in the 20th, 21st,22nd, 23rd, and 24th episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3 (2023) TV series based on Vladimir Propp's theory. To analyze the TV series, the research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The result of this research showed that there are six out of seven spheres of action appeared in The Mandalorian (2023) TV series. The researcher found out that there are 6 out of 7 spheres of action in the episodes, which are Hero, Donor, Helper, Dispatcher, Princess, and Villain. There are 28 out of 31 of Propp's 31 narrative functions occurring in these episodes which are Interdiction, Absentation, Reconnaissance, Delivery, Trickery, Villainy, Mediation, Beginning Counteraction, Departure, First function of Donor, Hero's Reaction, Receipt of Magical Agent, Guidance, Struggle, Branding, Victory, Liquidation, Return, Pursuit, Rescue, Difficult Task, Solution, Recognition, Exposure, Transfiguration, Punishment, and Wedding.
