PERSONALITY TRAITS OF LACIE POUND AS THE MAIN CHARACTER IN “BLACK MIRROR: NOSEDIVE” SERIAL MOVIE
ABSTRAKSI :
The objective of this research is to find out the personality traits that are found in the main character in “Black Mirror: Nosedive” serial movie. The researcher used Paul Costa and Robert McCrae‘s theory of personality traits such as neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis method. The researcher chooses "Black Mirror: Nosedive" Serial Movie because this movie has a fascinating storyline that makes the researcher very interested in finding out the personality traits of the main character. The data are found from dialogues, scenes, and descriptions from other characters which are related to Lacie Pound personality as the main character in “Black Mirror: Nosedive” serial movie. The result of this research showed that there are 21 data that contained personality traits, 7 of them are data that show neuroticism such as angry, irritable, worry, and calm. 3 of them are data that show extraversion such as optimistic. 3 of them is data that shows openness in experience such as curious. 5 of them are data that show agreeableness such as soft, friendly, and ruthless. The last 3 data are show conscientiousness such as persistent and ambitious. From all the data, the dominant personality traits of Lacie Pound as the main character of “Black Mirror: Nosedive” serial movie are neuroticism.
