THE DRAMATIS PERSONAE IN TROLLS MOVIE BASED ON VLADIMIR PROPP’S THEORY
ABSTRAKSI :
This scientific writing entitled The Dramatis Personae in Trolls Movie Based on Vladimir Propp’s Theory has purpose to analyze the dramatis personae based on Vladimir Propp’s theory in Trolls movie. In analysing this movie, the writer has collected the data and information that support the analysis using documentation technique. This research focused on Vladimir Propp’s theory which consisted of seven spheres of action, they were; Villain, Donor/Provider, Helper, Princess and Her Father, Hero, False Hero, and Dispatcher. The result of the analysis shows that there are seven dramatis personae or spheres of action that appear in Trolls movie, they were; Chef Bergen as the villain, Princess Poppy as the hero, Cloud Guy as the donor, Branch as the helper, Princess Poppy and King Peppy as the princess and her father, Creek as the false hero, and the last one is King Peppy as the dispatcher.
