ABSTRAKSI :
This research discusses the 31 narrative functions of Vladimir Propp in Doctor Strange movie. The focus of this research is to describe the depiction of 31 narrative functions in Doctor Strange movie. This research used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique carried out by researcher was watching Doctor Strange movie and analyzing them through the scenes and dialogues contained in the movie based on Vladimir Propp's theory of narrative function. The researcher found 23 of the 31 functions including Opening, Abstraction, Interdiction, Violation, Delivery, Trickery, Complicity, Villany or Lacking, Mediation, Counter-Action, Depature, First Function of the Donor, Hero's Reaction, Receip of a Magical agent, Guidance, Struggle, Branding, Victory, Return, Persuit, Rescue, Difficult Task, Solution, Punishment.
