THE HIERARCHY OF NEEDS REFLECTED IN NATASCHA KAMPUSCH IN 3096 DAYS MOVIE
ABSTRAKSI :
It is important to the authors of a movie to include some aspects like psychological aspect in order to give insight to the audience. One of psychological aspect that can be contained in a movie is hierarchy of needs. Abraham Maslow explained that there are five levels in hierarchy of needs namely, physiological needs, safety needs, love needs, esteem needs, self-actualization needs. This research focuses on the Natascha Kampusch’s as a main character in 3096 Days Movie by using Abraham Maslow’s theory. It uses qualitative research method to describe the related data. The data was taken from dialogue and body language. The results showed that only 3 of 5 Natascha Kampusch’s needs are satisfied which are 44 data for physiological needs, 2 data for safety needs, 5 data for love needs, and 0 data for esteem and self- actualization needs. Physiological needs are the most dominant needs that are found satisfied in the movie.
