Since the reformation era, Indonesia seems to lose its
identity as a respected nation regionally and internationally.
This can be seen from the problems Indonesia has been
facing in ideologi, economics, politics, culture, and security
which fortunately these problems do not lead Indonesia to
disintegration. Another serious problem is there are some
state officials who are suspects and accused in corruption
case. Indonesia has actually had personality traits such as
Pancasila, UUD 1945, Bhinneka TunggalIka, and Negara
Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRJ). Butfor some reasons,
the values has not implemented. Therefore, the question is
how the role 0.[ families, schools, society, and government
in the development process of the nation identity, and how
the relations among the four faktors. Family plays an
important role as a social institution as the basis of children
personality and character formation in cultivating the values
of compassion and honesty which need the role of father
and mother in daily life. Furthermore, schools also play
important role through the education process by providing the
knowledge, skills, and good moral education to the students,
and familiarize kensekuen enforcement and consistent
manner. Groups in society, neither informal nor formal
(organization) playa role in building the nations personality
through the achievement of its objectives as it should be and and do not commit acts of violence. Government as a major
organizer in the country occupies a strategic position in the
development of the personality of the character of the nation
and state of Indonesia. This role can be run with a revitalizing
Pancasila, enforce the law (law enforcement), and evoke a
sense of patriotism nationalism as the first ever successful
people of our nation do when repel invaders. Apparently
there are interconnections between social institutions such
as family, school, groups / organizations, communities, and
governments in the process of personality development of
Indonesian people who, if in - mapping, it visible the position
of government is central. This means that in the context of
the development of personality traits Nations Indonesian
government has a crucial role / dominant.
